What is the Network?
NCOHR, supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), serves as a national research network and is designed to initiate, support, and sustain innovative and collaborative oral health research. NCOHR brings together a diverse team with shared research interests. It goes beyond mere collaboration, actively working to broaden educational, training and research platforms. NCOHR facilitates the exchange of ideas and resources among health researchers, promoting collective efforts to enhance the oral health in Canada fostering the development of the next generation of Canadian oral health researchers.
Who can belong?
Members comprise students, healthcare professionals, professors, patient representatives, and researchers engaged in oral health research.
Is there a fee to belong?
No, there are no fees associated with membership in the Network.
How is the Network funded?
The Network for Canadian Oral Health Research receives funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and partnership funding (cash and in-kind) from the following:
- Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry
- Canadian Association for Dental Research
- MEDTEQ+
