103rd General Session & Exhibition of the IADR

The Applied AI in Oral Health Summer Institute is returning on July 11 and 12, 2025, to the Mike Petryk School of Dentistry at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Alberta. This event is designed for researchers, clinicians and students, and no prior AI experience is required. You'll receive hands-on training in applying AI and coding techniques to solve challenges in research to discover how to turn data into intelligence. Topics include tools for predictive analytics, natural language processing for chart mining, and running basic image processing pipelines using Google Colab. Discover more: uab.ca/rmt

The Faculty of Dentistry annual Research Day will take place on Wednesday November 5, 2025, 1:00-6:00 pm, on level 2 of the Dalhousie Student Union Building. The theme is Technology and Innovation in Healthcare Applications. The keynote speaker is Dr. Paul Santerre, professor and chair in health technology and commercialization at the University of Toronto.
