The national oral health research strategy (NOHRS) responds directly to the WHO’s 2024 Global Strategy for Oral Health, which calls on countries to establish national strategies. Canada’s NOHRS reflects community’s needs and aims to mobilize action around oral health priorities, since oral diseases and oral health care are urgent public health issues. NOHRS seeks to drive meaningful research, development, and policy change in this critical area.
